Following notification from the New York State Sex Offender Registry that they had removed three Level II Sex Offenders from their Registry pending litigation; effective 11/8/06 the Long Beach Police Department has removed these three Level II Sex Offenders from its web site. This action is done pending the outcome of litigation these offenders began regarding their respective Sex Offender classification.
Note: The current filing method used by the State Sex Offender Registry may result in duplicate records being displayed In the State database under the various aliases recorded for Sex Offenders within the registry. This may result in erroneously high totals when tallying offenders residing within a specific zipcode.
