On June 28th, 2021, at approximately 1:00 am, Officers received a call for an alcohol emergency in the area of Edwards Blvd and East Olive Street. Upon arrival officers observed blood on the pants of the person in need of medical assistance. It was discovered by medical personnel that the aided, unknown to him, had been shot multiple times in the buttocks area. The 22 year old gunshot victim was transported to a local area hospital, where he is recovering from surgery and expected to make a full recovery.
