The Long Beach Police Department has received several complaints concerning blocked sidewalks and crosswalks in the East End, specifically in the canals. It is illegal to block sidewalks and crosswalks as this leads to dangerous conditions where pedestrians, many of whom are pushing children in strollers, are forced to walk into the street to get around the obstruction. We are asking for your cooperation and to please park your car legally and help make Long Beach a safe place to live, work and visit!
