Earlier today, Commissioner Walsh and other members of the Long Beach Police Department joined City Officials in thanking the Community-Police Relations Foundation for their generous donation of 25 turkeys to the Long Beach Soup Kitchen and another 25 that were handed out by LBPD Officers to members of the community in need.
In addition, Virsig and their sister corporation, CSI, donated $1,000 combined to the Soup Kitchen, as did the Logan and Guardian Bus Companies.
We thank the above entities for their generosity toward our community. It will go a long way to ensuring all Long Beach families have a happy and nourishing Thanksgiving.
