Vehicle Boot Removal

1. The registered owner of the booted vehicle must obtain a Court Clearance letter from the Long Beach City Court located at 1 W. Chester St. Long Beach, NY 11561 (2nd Floor) and can be reached at (516)442-5845.
2. The registered owner of the booted vehicle must present the Court Clearance letter, valid registration and insurance documentation as well as a valid Government issued photo ID to the Long Beach Police Department Traffic Division.
3. A payment of $370.00 “Boot” Removal Fee, payable by cash/credit, is required to be paid to the LBPD Traffic Division.

“Boot” Removal Authorized by LBPD Traffic Division: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm

**FAILURE TO CORRECT VIOLATION WITHIN 72 HOURS RESULTS IN VEHICLE IMPOUND**
